My life
I'm a Design Team Leader, Art Director, and Graphic Designer based in the Denver area. With over 20 years of experience, I have been a part of in-house teams for multiple organizations in the financial, retail, and manufacturing industries. Design is a passion, as well as inspiring and enabling designers to create their best work.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with brand, from developing visual identities to creating fresh designs within defined guidelines. Most of my experience is as a graphic designer and team leader at KPMG, one of the Big Four financial firms, where our talented group supports the Management Committee and C-Suite. I coach and motivate the designers to do their best work. Besides design and leadership experience, I also have experience as a marketing manager. I embrace new challenges and opportunities to expand my leadership skillset and push my creativity.
As a leader, I think about strategy and implementation. What do designers need to be more successful, and how can we give it to them? I've co-created and facilitated design trainings for skill development, a work-sharing forum to inspire them, and tools, like a centralized icon library, to save them time and effort.
As a designer, most recently, I've specialized in presentation design, using visual storytelling to bring ideas and communications to life. I've also created visual identities, internal campaigns, thought leadership, product catalogs, environmental graphics, email marketing, packaging, and retail displays. I strive to find a solution that tells the story, has a clear conveyance of the brand, and looks cutting-edge.

I'm a Colorado native, but I have lived in Europe: Sweden for two years, and England for five. I continued to work in design and marketing when I was overseas, gaining unique international experience. I love to travel, create art, listen to music, and spend time outdoors. In my free time, you will likely find me in the mountains with my family (my husband, two kids, and two dogs), skiing or hiking, depending on the season.
